As of 1 February 2019 EGO HUMRICH WYEN has further strengthened its practice with Dr. Christian Stretz, LL.M. (NYU) joining as a salary partner. The 37-year-old attorney-at-law is admitted to practice in Germany and New York. He previously worked at Hengeler Mueller as a senior associate and was seconded to the Milan office of the Italian based law firm Bonelli Erede Pappalardo.
Christian’s practice mainly focuses on corporate and commercial litigation before state courts and arbitral tribunals where he represents clients in particular in D&O liability cases as well as post-M&A and capital-market-related disputes. During his time at Hengeler Mueller he also advised on M&A transactions and corporate matters. Christian is a visiting lecturer at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and regularly publishes in the field of arbitration law.
